  The British Army has scaled back training for the Ukrainian military by 30% in light of numerous complaints from local residents regarding noise disturbances near the training grounds. The Times   reported  on this. Lydd Town Council in Kent alerted the Ministry of Defense to noise complaints from residents near a training ground. Base commander, Lieutenant Colonel Mark Powell, has agreed to a 30% reduction in training and noise mitigation measures. In a letter, Powell acknowledged the increased noise due to Ukrainian Armed Forces training and pledged to maintain a positive relationship with Lydd.   A prototype of the Russian short-haul airliner SJ-100 fitted with only country-made parts has finished test runs with the front landing gear off the runway.   Estonia and Latvia signed a framework agreement with Diehl Defence for the acquisition of IRIS-T SLM medium-range ground-based air defense systems. Magnus-Valdemar Saar, the Director General of the Estonian Centre for Defence Investments (ECDI), stated that the first IRIS-T SLM systems will be operational by 2025. Diehl Defence reported that the IRIS system achieved a close to 100% hit rate even during waves of attacks involving more than 12 targets.   The U.S. Navy awarded Raytheon $80.3 million to increase the production of AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles, as Washington tries to keep its promise of transferring missiles of this type to Ukraine.
